FREE IT TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS

The REALISE IT Network is offering FREE IT Training for Community and Voluntary Groups in the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, Westminster and the Corporation of London

The European Computer Driving Licence

The European Computer Driving Licence® (ECDL) is internationally recognised. It is designed for those who wish to gain a benchmark qualification in computing. No prior knowledge of IT or computer skills is required.
10 sessions: Tuesdays 20th April - 22nd June or Mondays 17th May - 26th July

Basic Skills Courses Half day courses.

These courses are designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to useful IT skills. Learn all you need to get started!

  • How to Create a Web-page
  • Half day on one of these dates: 29th April, 20th May, 24th June and 15th July

  • Introduction to Digital Photography
  • Half day on one of these dates: 6th, 27th May, 17th June or 8th July

  • Introduction to Internet and Communication
  • Half day on one of these dates: 3rd June or 29th July

    Eligibility Criteria

    1. Your organisation must be a self-governing body of people who have joined together voluntarily to take action for the benefit of the community, and established otherwise than for financial gain.

    2. Your organisation does not have to be a registered charity, but if it is not, the aims, objectives and methods of working of your organisation must be written down in a publicly available document.

    3. Your organisation should be open to all members of the community with interests relevant to your publicly stated aims.

    4. Your organisation must be based in the REALISE project area. (The London Boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, Westminster and the Corporation of London

    5. Consideration will also be given to the length of time that your organisation has been functioning and its financial situation.

    6. Your organisation should be properly constituted and its existence should not be time limited for a particular purpose.
